In celebration of all the strong women who continually forge change to drive gender parity, we asked some of our female colleagues who play various roles within the COMO Group to share their thoughts on what it means to be a woman today –  from empowering each other, to gender equality and opportunities – and on embracing equity as well as their hopes for the future. We believe in giving back in our own little way – and we hope you’ll join us in our bid to empower women. From now till 12 March, the COMO Group is proud to partner Daughters of Tomorrow (DOT) to support women from low-income families towards gainful employment.

The homegrown charity’s aim to empower women and enable families is aligned with the mission of the COMO Foundation. The philanthropic arm of the COMO Group, the Foundation collaborates with partners to close the opportunity gap for women and girls. We believe that families and communities benefit when women and girls are educated, engaged and economically secure. We support organisations, not projects, complementing traditional programmatic funding to help our partners grow.

This year, business entities under the COMO Group umbrella, will support DOT in a series of fund raising initiatives – ranging from supporting our favourite women-led brands in retail to specially designed menus at our restaurants – to benefit the organisation. Your contribution will enable DOT to support women from low-income families to gain employment through back-to-work support, community outreach and engagement, and upward social mobility assistance.
